The brand was created in 2008 by actor Dan Aykroyd together with artist and entrepreneur John Alexander. Their vision was to produce a vodka that would stand out not only for its quality but also for its distinctive aesthetic.

The inspiration comes from the legend of the 13 crystal skulls—ancient crystal skulls that, according to myth and archaeological lore, symbolize knowledge, power, and mystery. The skull represents mortality and awareness of life, clarity of mind, and the idea that true luxury lies in simplicity.

Creamed corn and peaches are distilled four times into a neutral gluten-free grain spirit, before being blended with pristine water from Newfoundland, Canada. It is then filtered through layers of 500-million-year-old crystals known as Herkimer diamonds.

On the palate, it reveals notes of vanilla and soft spices, with a gentle sweetness and a subtle hint of red pepper and spice.
