Don Papa celebrates the passion and spirit of the revolutionary hero Papa Isio, from the island of Negros in the Philippines, who fought for the island’s independence.

It is a tribute to the charismatic and legendary leader of Negros, who in the 1890s helped his people rise up and ultimately free the island from Spanish rule.

Crafted from molasses, it is aged for several years in ex–American bourbon barrels at the foothills of Mount Kanlaon.

On the nose, bright citrus and vanilla aromas unfold, followed by a rich palate filled with notes of candied tropical fruits, honey, dried raisins, and gently toasted oak.
